Tim Deelstra

Tim Deelstra currently serves as the Executive Director and Advisor to the President at the Canadian Labour Congress, a position held since January 2022. Prior to this, Tim Deelstra worked at UFCW Canada from December 2003 to January 2022, where roles included Coordinator of Government Relations & Member Engagement and Engagement & Media Relations Strategist for Locals 175 & 633, representing over 70,000 workers in various sectors across Ontario. Tim Deelstra also served as a Union Representative, addressing member concerns and engaging in labor relations activities. Earlier experience includes a position as General Labourer at Kraft Foods, where Tim Deelstra also took on responsibilities as a union steward for UFCW Local 175.
