Arika Jiang

Coordinator, Marketing & Communications at Canadian Media Producers Association

Arika is a member of the CMPA’s communications team that deals with a broad range of activities including strategic communications, media relations, branding, event production, and oversight of the CMPA’s digital properties.

Some of her responsibilities include preparing the Daily News Flash for members, generating digital analytics reports, tracking media relations activities, and providing communications and marketing support for all internal CMPA departments. She also assists with the production and distribution of CMPA’s Indiescreen magazine.

Prior to joining the CMPA, Arika co-founded Cinema Six, a publication dedicated to promoting the growth of a film community in Toronto. She also developed and managed the execution of a new film festival called City of Shorts, in collaboration with the Hart House Film Board. Her film festival experience also extends to working at TIFF and assisting with programming at the Regent Park Film Festival.

Arika holds an honors Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Toronto.
