Nicole Cheng

Nicole oversees day-to-day accounting activity at the CMPA.

Leading the Finance team, Nicole is responsible for the general accounting functions at the organization, including preparing financial reports and financial analysis, payroll, and the coordination of the month-end and year-end functions. She also assists the Vice-President of Finance and Facilities to streamline the financial processes and improve internal controls.

Nicole has over seven-year experience in providing professional services across a broad range of finance areas including full cycle accounting, financial reporting and analysis, budgeting, and tax for a variety of companies and industries, including Dental Corporation of Canada in Toronto and Landmark Home Solutions in St. Catharines. Prior to joining the CMPA, Nicole held a senior accountant position working with the fishing company Newfound Resources in St. John’s.

Nicole earned a master of accountancy degree from Brock University, and she attained her CPA-CGA designation in 2012.
