John Lee

John Lee has over 20 years of work experience in the legal field. John most recently worked at the Canadian Medical Association as the Vice-President, Legal Services, Legal Counsel, and CPO. Prior to that, they held the role of Vice-President and Legal Counsel at the same company. Before joining the Canadian Medical Association, John served as the General Counsel at Joule-A CMA company. John also worked as a Partner at Dentons and as an Assistant General Counsel at BlackBerry. John began their career as an Associate Lawyer at Fraser Milner Casgrain LLP and Gowling Lafleur Henderson LLP.

John Lee has an LLB degree in Law from the University of Ottawa. John also holds a Master of Arts - MA degree in Political Economy and a B.A. (Hons) degree in Political Science, both from Carleton University. Additionally, they have certifications as a CIPP/C from the International Association of Privacy Professionals, a Lawyer from the Law Society of Ontario, and a Registered Trademark Agent from CPATA - CABAMC.
