Interpretive Planner at Canadian Museum for Human Rights

Robert Evans is an experienced interpretive planner currently employed at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights since September 2021. Previously, Robert worked at Origin Studios Inc. from 2014 to September 2021, focusing on exhibit development, interpretation, and content management, liaising between content experts and designers. Robert's diverse roles also include serving as a visual arts and research consultant from 2008 to 2013, a contract instructor at Carleton University from 2005 to 2012, and curator for exhibitions and interpretation at the Portrait Gallery of Canada in 2007-2008. Robert holds a PhD in Cultural Mediations (Visual Culture) and an MA in Canadian Art History from Carleton University, along with a BFA in Studio (Photography) from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design.
