Robert Blades

Robert Blades is a seasoned professional in digital collections and data solutions, currently serving as the Digital Collections Information Manager at the Canadian Museum of Nature since May 2022. Previously, Robert held the position of Senior Data Solutions Architect at Canadian Development Consultants International Inc. from May 2018 to May 2022 and worked as a Digital Historical Solutions consultant freelance from 2014 to 2020. Additional roles include contributions as a Web Accessibility Solutions co-author at Carleton University, Digital Marketing Production Coordinator at Giant Tiger, and Graduate Teaching Assistant at Carleton University. Robert's extensive experience also encompasses historical research and web development for the Federation for the Humanities and Social Sciences, along with various positions at Bombardier Transportation and as a Site Admin for Looted Heritage. An alumnus of Carleton University, Robert earned a Master's degree in Public History with a specialization in Digital Humanities and a Bachelor's degree in History with a minor in Philosophy.
