Hui Liu

Hui (Sophie) Liu is a skilled Civil Engineer with extensive experience in design and project management. Currently serving as a Bridge Design Engineer at CN since June 2023, Hui previously worked as a Design Engineer at ESCA Consultants from August 2011 to June 2023, focusing on structural design calculations and construction permit applications. An Engineering Intern at Emerald Performance Materials, LLC and at the Illinois Department of Transportation, Hui contributed to manufacturing processes and quality control in asphalt pavement projects. Early career roles in China included Project Engineer for Hubei Jingzhu Expressway Administrative Division and Junior Project Engineer on various highway construction projects. Hui holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Bradley University and a Bachelor of Engineering from Changsha University of Science and Technology.
