Kari Harris

Kari Harris is a seasoned environmental professional with over 25 years of experience in environmental assessment and compliance. Currently serving as Sr. Manager of Environmental Assessment at CN since October 2012, Kari is responsible for ensuring environmental permit compliance for construction projects in regulated natural areas across the US. Previous roles include Natural Resources Manager at Shaw Environmental, Inc. and Environmental and Safety Compliance Manager at Centex Homes, where significant contributions were made to stormwater management programs. Earlier career experience includes serving as Head of the Environmental Resources Section II at Christopher B. Burke Engineering, Ltd., managing over 750 projects related to wetland delineation and Clean Water Act permitting. Kari holds a BS in Geography and a Certificate in Geographic Information Systems from Northern Illinois University.
