Martin Ferns

Martin Ferns is an experienced IT manager specializing in transportation domain services delivery and DevOps practices, currently employed at CN since February 2021. Martin has successfully managed agile teams to implement domain-based data events and services using Java microservices, MuleSoft, IIB, Apache Kafka, and Azure DevOps. Previously, Martin advanced DevSecOps initiatives for CN's Software Engineering organization and led efforts in integrating systems of record with new products. Prior experience at CAE between 2013 and 2020 involved overseeing application and database operations, fostering a DevOps culture, and implementing a complete SDLC solution for engineering applications. Martin holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Concordia University Montreal and a Programmer/Analyst AEC in Computer Programming from John Abbott College.
