Nicole James

Nicole James is an accomplished transportation and logistics professional with extensive experience in the railway industry. Currently serving as Vice President of the Western Region at CN since May 2020, Nicole has held various leadership roles including General Manager of Supply Chain and Network Operations, and Director of Mechanical Reliability and Engineering. Prior to joining CN, Nicole worked at BNSF Railway from July 2003 to April 2020, where roles included Terminal Superintendent, Regional Crew Director, and Trainmaster across multiple locations. Nicole holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Denver and a Bachelor's degree in Transportation and Logistics from Iowa State University.
