Chris Patterson

Chris Patterson is an experienced engineer specializing in facilities and project management within the oil and gas sector. Currently serving as a Facilities/Project Engineer at Canadian Natural Resources Limited since March 2021, Chris focuses on greenhouse gas projects. Previously, roles at CNRL included Production Engineer, where responsibilities encompassed optimizing heavy oil wells and managing capital programs across heavy oil fields. With a long tenure at Devon Energy, Chris excelled in technology development for enhanced oil recovery processes, leading significant projects like the Hot Water Vapour Process and Enhanced Solvent Extraction Incorporating Electromagnetic Heating, while also chairing technical committees and driving commercialization strategies. Earlier positions at PK Sound, Cenovus Energy, and other organizations bolstered Chris's expertise in design, production optimization, and project management.
