Luis Mora

Luis Mora, P.Eng has a diverse and extensive work experience in the engineering field. Luis started their career at Moa Nickel S.A as the Chief of Operations for the HPAL plant from 1990 to 1997. Luis then joined Sherritt International, where they held the roles of Process Engineer Manager at Moa Nickel S.A from 1998 to 2005, and Production Manager at The Cobalt Refinery Inc from 2005 to 2009. In 2010, Luis joined CNRL as the Process Engineering Manager until 2012, when they transitioned to the role of Production Reporting and Accounting Lead. Throughout their various positions, Luis has shown expertise in technical support, operations monitoring, troubleshooting, continuous improvement, and process optimization.

Luis Mora, P.Eng received their B.Sc in Metallurgical Engineering with a focus on Mineral Processing and Extractive Metallurgy from the Higher Institute of Mining and Metallurgy from 1985 to 1990. Luis obtained the certification of Professional Engineer from The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta in July 2012.
