Li Yan

Li Yan is an experienced flight dispatcher with a career spanning over two decades in the aviation industry. Currently, Li Yan serves as a flight dispatcher for Canadian North, handling ATR 42 and Boeing 737 aircraft since September 2022. Prior experience includes key roles at Emirates and Etihad Airways, overseeing dispatch operations for various aircraft including Boeing 777 and Airbus A380, and ensuring safe and efficient flight planning. Before specializing in flight dispatch, Li Yan worked at Gulf Air in various positions, including Learning & Development Consultant and Emergency Response Coordinator. Li Yan holds a Master's Degree in Air Transport Management from City St George’s, University of London and has completed an Aircraft Dispatcher Course at Sheffield School of Aeronautics, among other educational qualifications.
