Madeleine Smith

Madeleine Smith is a seasoned professional in the arts and education sectors, currently serving as Manager of Community Partnerships and Programs at the Canadian Opera Company since May 2022. Prior experience includes roles as Administration and Development Assistant at the National Youth Orchestra of Canada, and Communications & Job Board Coordinator at Orchestras Canada/Orchestres Canada. Additional contributions to the field include co-founding the Cello Masterclass Series and serving as a cellist with Orchestre de la Francophonie. An educational background includes a Bachelor of Music in Cello Performance from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Education from York University, complemented by a secondary education with a French Immersion diploma.
