Manager - Indigenous Engagement And Integration at Canadian Partnership Against Cancer

Joshua Tobias is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in Indigenous health engagement and education. Currently serving as the Manager of Indigenous Engagement and Integration at the Canadian Partnership Against Cancer since March 2021, Joshua supports the development of cancer strategies tailored to Indigenous communities. Additionally, Joshua holds positions as an Adjunct Professor and Sessional Instructor at Western University, teaching courses related to environmental hazards and social determinants of health. Previous roles include Partnership Liaison Officer at Ontario Health and a Postdoctoral Fellow at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, where Joshua researched policy barriers in cancer screening for Indigenous populations. With a strong academic background, including a PhD in Geography from Western University, Joshua has also contributed as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant in various geography-related projects.
