Don Chynoweth

Don Chynoweth is an experienced board member and industry leader with a robust history in corporate governance and strategic management. Currently serving as the Board Member and Chair of the Investment Committee at Blue Cross Life Insurance Company of Canada and Director and Chair of the HRGC at the Canadian Public Accountability Board, Don also holds the position of Chair of the Board of Directors at Alberta Blue Cross. In addition to roles at ACDEN Base Operators Ltd and Canadian Base Operators Inc., Don has participated in various capacities for organizations such as Highway Services Ltd and Hospice Calgary. A former President of SNC-Lavalin O&M Logistics, Don has a strong background in logistics and operations within multiple countries including Germany and France. Academically, Don holds an ICD.D designation from the Rotman School of Business, completed an Executive Management Program at Ivey Business School, and earned a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Saskatchewan.
