James Wilson is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in the broadcasting and telecommunications sectors. Currently serving as Senior Legal Counsel at the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) since January 2011, James specializes as a Technical Specialist within the legal sector. Prior to this role, James worked as Legal Counsel at the Department of Justice Canada, focusing on environmental assessments, and held the same title at CRTC from November 2000 to January 2008. James's career began as a Lawyer at Gatien-Braithwaite Law Firm from 1996 until 2000 and as an Articling Student at Hicks Morley from 1994 to 1995. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Osgoode Hall Law School and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Political Science and Government from Queen's University.
