Carla Taylor

Carla Taylor serves as the Head of Region for Asia Pacific at the Canadian Red Cross since June 2022, previously holding the position of Director for International Programs. With extensive experience in disaster risk management, Carla Taylor was the Disaster Risk Management Coordinator for the Pacific at the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) from June 2020 to June 2022, where responsibilities included monitoring disaster preparedness and leading humanitarian assistance coordination. Before this, Carla Taylor contributed to various roles at IFRC and Canadian Red Cross, focusing on disaster response and capacity building. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Disaster and Emergency Management from Royal Roads University and a Bachelor's degree in International Development from the University of Guelph.
