Dan Oxton

Dan Oxton is an experienced professional in health and safety, currently serving as an Advisor for Health Safety & Prevention at Interior Health Authority since May 2025. Oxton has a longstanding association with the Canadian Red Cross as an Instructor Trainer for Emergency Medical Responder, First Aid, and CPR. Previously, Oxton held positions including Health, Safety & Environment Manager and Health And Safety Specialist at Kicking Horse Coffee, as well as EH&S Trainer at Suncor Energy. Oxton’s career includes a role as Ambassador for the job safety skills society and Instructor Trainer for the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta, NWT, and Nunavut. Educational background includes studies at the University of Alberta and Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.
