Pamela Farah is an experienced Systems Readiness Manager at the Canadian Red Cross since January 2020, where successful implementation of new data management processes enhanced decision-making and service delivery in emergency management. Previously serving as Acting Senior Manager, Pamela effectively managed a diverse operations team to develop comprehensive preparedness activities for volunteers, thereby improving response capabilities. As Emergency Management Coordinator, Pamela built strong relationships with community partners and led a team of over 70 volunteers, ensuring readiness for field response. Earlier roles include Virtual Case Management Supervisor, providing coordinated support for individuals affected by the Fort McMurray wildfires, and Research Assistant at the University of Calgary, focusing on citizen engagement and receiving the PURE Award for research initiatives. Pamela holds a Master’s of Human Security and Peacebuilding from Royal Roads University, a Bachelor of Communications Studies from the University of Calgary, a Diploma in Film and Video Production from SAIT, and a Bilingual High School Diploma from College Pierre-Elliott-Trudeau.
