Loren Schwartz

Loren Schwartz is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the financial and technology sectors, currently serving as Senior Director of Capital Markets Regulatory Technology at CIBC Capital Markets since July 2011. Loren leads initiatives focused on AML Transaction Monitoring, Regulatory Reporting, and Client Data Services, collaborating with AML, Compliance, and Business Management teams to ensure adherence to AML, KYC, and Transaction Reporting regulations. Additionally, Loren has held significant roles at the Canadian RegTech Association as a Strategic Advisor, as well as managerial positions at OMERS, TD Securities, CIBC World Markets, and Netron Inc. Loren's academic credentials include an MBA in Finance and Strategic Management and an Honours BBA in Management and Marketing from the Schulich School of Business at York University.
