Hilary Belleville began their work experience in 2009 as a Marketing Coordinator at Ashcroft Homes, where they conducted marketing research and managed the company's website. In 2013, they worked as a Laboratory Assistant at Algonquin College, where they assisted in preparing solutions and maintaining glassware. Hilary then worked as an Assistant Laboratory Technician at the City of Ottawa in 2014, analyzing water samples and conducting quality control checks. In 2014, they also served as a Reagent Manufacturer at Spartan Bioscience. From 2015 to 2019, they worked as a Technologist at Aerobiology Research Laboratories, and then as a Microscopist at EMSL Analytical, Inc. In 2019, they joined Canadian Science Publishing, first as a Production Editor and then as a Journal Development Specialist. Additionally, they have experience as an Event Assistant at JMA, where they managed on-site logistics and supervised volunteers.
Hilary Belleville has a diverse education history. From 2018 to 2021, they attended Royal Roads University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Practice. Prior to that, from 2011 to 2014, they studied at Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology, where they earned a degree in Biotechnology Technologist. In addition, they also attended Algonquin College from 2007 to 2008, with a focus on Event Management, and from 2005 to 2007, where their field of study was Business Marketing.
Additionally, Hilary has obtained a PADI Open Water Certification, although the institution and specific time of obtaining this certification are unknown.

The NRC Research Press journals (16 titles) cover a broad range of scientific disciplines, with more than 2000 manuscripts each year. All journals are available online and are accessible before print publication at www.nrcresearchpress.com. We proudly participate in international programs such as Research4Life, PERii, and TEEAL, which provide developing countries access to their material at little or no cost.
