Currently serving as the Interim Director of Marketing & Communications at Canadian Science Publishing, Kristin has also held roles such as Brand and Communications Manager and Marketing Manager within the organization. Prior to this, Kristin worked at the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association as the Manager of Communications & Public Relations. Kristin has a diploma in Public Relations from Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology.

Canadian Science Publishing (CSP), head-quartered in Ottawa, Ontario (Canada) is an independent, not-for-profit scholarly publisher dedicated to serving the needs of researchers and their communities, not only by publishing quality peer-reviewed journals but also by supporting the knowledge-sharing activities of scholarly societies and other keypartners through events, awards, and other exchanges.They are a not‐for‐profit company – CSP's Board is drawn from the research and publishing communities and represents all interests of the scholarly publishing community in Canada and beyond, including researchers, scientific societies, libraries, and business. The CSP membership base includes a wide range of institutions and organizations that have a stake in developing a healthy scholarly scientific publishing industry. The NRC Research Press journals (16 titles) cover a broad range of scientific disciplines, with more than 2000 manuscripts each year. All journals are available online and are accessible before print publication at www.nrcresearchpress.com. We proudly participate in international programs such as Research4Life, PERii, and TEEAL, which provide developing countries access to their material at little or no cost.
