Ryan McLeod

Ryan McLeod has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Ryan has served as the Chief Financial Officer at Batchewana First Nation since 2022. Ryan is also a Sessional Lecturer at Sault College of Applied Arts and Technology since 2022. In addition, they have held the position of Vice President Finance - Ontario Division at Canadian Ski Patrol since 2014.

Ryan previously worked with Ontario Provincial Police as an Auxiliary Staff Sergeant & A/2IC NE Region from 2010 to present. Ryan also served as the Director of Finance at Sagamok Anishnawbek from 2020 to 2022. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Logistics Officer at Canadian Armed Forces | Forces armées canadiennes from 2018 to 2022.

Ryan has also held various managerial roles at Porter Airlines Inc., including Hub Manager, Toronto from 2019 to 2020, Station Manager at YTZ from 2018 to 2019, and Acting Manager, Passenger Service from 2018 to 2018. Ryan started their career as a Contracted Station Manager at Porter Airlines Inc. from 2011 to 2017.

Moreover, Ryan had a business ownership experience from 2010 to 2018.

Ryan McLeod obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Business/Commerce, General from Laurentian University/Université Laurentienne in 2009. In 2022, they will be completing their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the same university. Ryan also has additional certifications including the Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH®) and the Canadian Securities Course (CSC®) from the Canadian Securities Institute, both obtained in 2008 and 2009 respectively. In 2021, they became an Associate Member of CIM | Chartered Managers Canada.
