Alex Gooderham

Alex Gooderham is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technical and customer service roles within the engineering and renewable energy sectors. Currently serving as the Commissioning and Service Technical Manager at Canadian Solar Inc. since December 2022, Alex leads commissioning efforts for battery energy storage systems throughout the UK. Prior to this, Alex spent nearly a decade as Customer Service Area Manager at Mikron Automation in Switzerland, focusing on after-sales support for automated assembly solutions. Earlier roles as a Field Service Engineer at KORSCH AG, Ultrapac Ltd, and Wright Machinery involved technical support, installation, and training for various industrial machinery. Alex's career began in the Royal Air Force as an Aircraft Technician, honing foundational skills in technical operations.
