Matt Dickens

Matt Dickens is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in battery energy storage systems (BESS) and project management. Currently serving as the Engineering Manager at Canadian Solar Inc., Matt is responsible for optimizing the design and managing engineering processes for utility-scale BESS projects. Previously at Aggreko, Matt held roles as a Senior BESS O&M Engineer and Senior UK Project Engineer, where significant contributions to the UK's energy storage initiatives were made. Early career experiences include project management and commissioning roles in various engineering and construction projects across multiple sectors, demonstrating a solid foundation in electrical and instrumentation engineering. Matt holds an HNC and ONC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering from Longlands College, Teesside.
