Thomas Koerner

Thomas Koerner serves as the Corporate Senior Vice President and President of the Americas at Canadian Solar Inc. since December 2012, with prior roles including Corporate Vice President for Modules and System Solutions and Vice President of Global Sales. Koerner has been a board member at NexWafe since March 2021 and at the Solar Energy Industries Association since January 2013. Previous experience includes serving as a board member at eNow, Inc. and managing North American operations for Chint Solar/Astronergy. Koerner also held roles in sales, marketing, and business development at Heliatek and Schüco International KG, establishing profitable solar businesses across North America. Koerner holds an MBA in General Management/Business Engineering from Steinbeis University and a Master of Engineering in Semiconductor and Microsystem Technologies from the University of Applied Sciences in Regensburg.
