Xinbo Zhu

Xinbo Zhu currently serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Canadian Solar Inc., a position held since January 2014. In addition to financial leadership, Xinbo Zhu holds roles as Chief Risk Officer and Chief Supply Officer of Recurrent Energy, along with previous positions that include VP of Operation and Project Finance and Corporate VP of Finance. Prior experience includes a tenure at Vishay Intertechnology, Inc., where Xinbo Zhu worked as Director of Controlling and held senior finance management roles. Earlier career highlights feature a role as Head of Human Resources in China for American Power Conversion and Mr. Zhu’s foundational experience at Philips as a Purchasing Engineer. Academic qualifications include an MBA from the University of Toronto – Rotman School of Management and two degrees in Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
