Luc Lefebvre is a seasoned professional in the aerospace sector with extensive experience in space exploration and human spaceflight projects. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor for Space Exploration Strategic Planning at the Canadian Space Agency since October 2020, Luc focuses on the planning of Canadian utilization of the Lunar Gateway. Luc has also been an Aerospace Consultant since November 2019, leveraging a wealth of experience in project planning and implementation. Prior roles at the Canadian Space Agency from May 2004 to October 2019 included Head of ISS Projects and Payloads Development, responsible for coordinating multidisciplinary teams for payload development on the International Space Station (ISS). Luc's earlier career includes significant contributions as a Systems Engineer at McGill University, where responsibilities encompassed the development and operation of human physiology payloads for the Space Shuttle and ISS, and as a Structures Engineer at Bombardier Aerospace, analyzing the Canadair Challenger.
