Jon Brydges

Jon Brydges has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Jon is currently working as the Program Manager - Commercial at Canadian UAVs since April 2021. Prior to this, from 2019 to 2021, Jon was self-employed as a caregiver, primarily raising their young son while also pursuing video creation as a hobby. Jon gained skills in writing, editing, visual presentation, and software learning during this period.

Before their self-employment, Jon served as a Senior GIS Analyst at Trace Associates Inc. for eight years from 2011 to 2019. In this role, they managed GIS programs and led client teams for various environmental site assessments and reclamation programs in Central and Southern Alberta.

From 2007 to 2011, Jon worked as a GIS Analyst at Integrated Informatics Inc., specializing in technical support for GIS applications and development in the Oil & Gas sector. Jon'sresponsibilities included LiDAR analysis, seismic data maintenance, database schema development, and data conversion projects.

Prior to that, Jon was a GIS Analyst at EBA Engineering Consultants Ltd from 2000 to 2007.

Overall, Jon Brydges has extensive experience in GIS analysis, project management, and technical support, with a recent focus on caregiving and video creation.

Jon Brydges attended the University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC) from 1995 to 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Geography.
