Carissa Taylor

Carissa Taylor is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in community organizing and research, currently serving as a Local Community Organizer and Research Representative for the Canadian Union of Public Employees since February 2021. Prior to this role, Carissa worked as a Campaigns Coordinator for CUPE Ontario from April 2018 to February 2021 and held positions such as Development Coordinator at the Workers Arts and Heritage Centre and National Graduate Caucus Chairperson for the Canadian Federation of Students. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Social Justice and Equity Studies from Brock University and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) in English from Brandon University, where also engagement included roles as a Teaching Assistant and Student Ambassador.
