Karine Fortin has a diverse work experience spanning from 2000 to 2018. Karine began their career as a journalist at Le Devoir from 2000 to 2002 and then worked as a National Reporter at The Canadian Press from 2002 to 2011. From 2005 to 2008, they were also part of the editorial committee at Le Trente. Starting from 2011, they transitioned into political roles, serving as the Deputy National Director and later as the Director of Strategic Communications for the New Democratic Party until 2016. Following that, they worked as a Director at NATIONAL Public Relations from 2017 to 2018. Their most recent position was as the Director of Communications at the Canadian Union of Public Employees since November 2018.
