Marnie Thorp

Marnie Thorp is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in communication and union education. Since July 2007, Marnie has contributed to the Canadian Union of Public Employees in various roles, including Union Education Officer, Digital Media Officer, and Graphic Designer. Prior experience includes owning and operating Red Rabbit Communication, which focused on providing communication services for social change, and serving as a Communications Specialist for the Canadian Union of Postal Workers, where direction and support for the national union executive were provided. Additionally, Marnie worked as an Organizer for the Teaching Support Staff Union, coordinating member relations and educational events. Marnie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Simon Fraser University, completed in 1996.
