Kim Furlong

Kim Furlong's work experience includes:

- From January 2019 to present, they have been the CEO of the Canadian Venture Capital & Private Equity Association.

- From October 2008 to December 2018, they served as the Director of Federal Government Affairs at Amgen.

- From May 2006 to September 2008, they held the position of Vice-President of Federal Government Relations at the Retail Council of Canada.

- From October 2005 to January 2006, they worked as the Director of Communication to Foreign Affairs Minister, Pierre S Pettigrew, at the Department of Foreign Affairs.

- From December 2003 to September 2005, they served as a Policy Advisor to International Trade Minister, Jim Peterson, also at the Department of Foreign Affairs.

- From 2001 to 2003, they worked as a Communication Strategist (Trade Policy) at the Department of Foreign Affairs.

Kim Furlong completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in American History from McGill University between 1996 and 2000. Following that, they pursued a Masters degree in Trade Policy and Global Finance from the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs at Carleton University, which they obtained from 2001 to 2003.
