Margaret Wu

Margaret Wu is a seasoned investment professional currently serving as the Lead Investor at Georgian since March 2017, focusing on deal selection, due diligence, board governance, and post-investment support. Margaret holds board director positions at Oyster, Xanadu, OpenWeb, Darrow, and You, and is a board member of the Canadian Venture Capital & Private Equity Association (CVCA) since June 2021. Previously, Margaret was a Kauffman Fellow (Class 25) from June 2020 to September 2023, participating in a program designed to foster global networks among leading venture capitalists. Prior professional experience includes roles as Sr. Product Manager for Mobile at Amazon UK, co-founder of Uma Bioseed, and COO of OneSpout.com, along with a consulting position at Accenture. Margaret holds an MBA from Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management and a double degree in Environment and Business and Chemistry from the University of Waterloo.
