Danielle Fortin is a seasoned professional currently serving as the Manager of HR & Operations at Canadian Women & Sport since December 2023 and as a Leadership & Career Coach at CareerJoy since September 2023. Previously, Danielle held several key positions at Shopify from December 2015 to May 2023, including Sr. Operations Lead in Product Acceleration, where focus was on enhancing team culture and improving processes for corporate development, as well as scaling the Talent Acquisition Operations team. Danielle's earlier roles include teaching at the Western Quebec School Board and School District 69 Parksville-Qualicum, and coordinating development programs for Ultimate Canada. Educational credentials include an Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Ottawa, a Bachelor of Education from Vancouver Island University, and a Diploma in Public Relations from Algonquin College.
