Diego Flores

Diego Flores is a Technical Services Specialist at the Canadian Wood Council, a position held since September 2022. Prior to this role, Diego served as a Stagiaire en Génie du bois at Cecobois from January 2019 to November 2022, where responsibilities included developing the web platform Gestimat, creating instructional videos in both French and English, and assisting in event planning. Diego also gained experience as a Stagiaire en Génie du bois at the Canadian Wood Council from May 2018 to September 2018, focusing on document translation for the Wood Design Manual and producing educational videos. Diego holds a Bachelor's degree in Wood Engineering from Université Laval (2016-2020) and a Master of Engineering (MEng) focused on the fire performance of glued-in rod connections from Université Laval (2020-2022).
