Vüsal Ibrahimli

Vüsal Ibrahimli is a Code and Life Safety Consultant with Morrison Hershfield since June 2022, and previously served as a Fire Safety Engineering Research Associate at the University of Waterloo from January 2017 to June 2022, where projects included small-scale testing of liquids and various academic roles. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, Vüsal led tutorial and laboratory sessions for multiple courses, enhancing students’ problem-solving and experimental design skills. Research experience includes phase inversion studies as a Dispersion Rheology Research Associate, proposing modifications for anti-corrosion coating development as a Microstructural Characterization Research Associate, and investigating fuel cell performance as a Fuel Cell Materials Research Associate. Vüsal holds a Master of Applied Science in Fire Safety Engineering and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Honours Chemical Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
