Henry Velasquez

Henry Velasquez is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in youth and college education. Currently serving as the Youth & College Education Senior Manager at Canal Alliance since July 2017, Henry designs and evaluates programs aimed at preparing low-income, first-generation students for college. Responsibilities include overseeing curriculum development, summer programming, and family engagement initiatives, as well as tracking student progress for grant reporting. Previous roles include positions at Bay Area Community Resources, where Henry coordinated summer programs and engaged with students in various educational capacities, and at San Rafael City Schools as a Special Education Instructional Assistant. Henry holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of the Pacific, earned in 2016.
