Mark Allen

Mark Allen possesses extensive experience in engineering and finance. Currently serving as the General Manager of Vessel Engineering at Canal Barge Company, Inc. since January 2019, Mark has previously held roles as a Project Engineer and Technical Intern at Bollinger Shipyards. Mark also founded Fleet Clean New Orleans, where responsibilities as Owner were maintained from October 2014 to September 2017. Prior experience includes positions as an Investment Banking Analyst at J.P. Morgan and UBS Investment Bank, where Mark specialized in financial sponsor and financial institutions groups. Mark's academic background includes multiple master's degrees in Mathematics, Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, and Engineering Management from the University of New Orleans, complemented by a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Vanderbilt University. Mark is also an alumnus of The Hotchkiss School.
