Whitney Brown

Whitney Brown is an accomplished accounting professional with extensive experience in financial management and auditing. Currently serving as Assistant Controller at Canal Barge Company since August 2012, Whitney oversees financial and tax reporting, compliance, audit coordination, and fixed asset accounting while preparing consolidated financial statements and providing expertise on technical accounting issues. Prior to this role, Whitney was a Senior Auditor at EY from October 2009 to August 2012, where responsibilities included compiling and analyzing financial reports, managing fieldwork and staff performance, and maintaining client relationships. Whitney holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Xavier University of Louisiana and a Master of Science in Accounting from Tulane University.
