José Manuel Vega García

José Manuel Vega García is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in quality management systems and environmental management, currently serving as Jefe de Área Sistemas Gestión Calidad y Medio Ambiente at Canal de Isabel II since July 2014. Previous roles at Canal de Isabel II include Técnico Auditor de Gestión and O&M Manager in the Wastewater Treatment Department, as well as engineering positions within the same sector. José Manuel began developing expertise during internships at Canal de Isabel II Gestión in collaboration with Fundación Universidad Empresa, from March 2012 to May 2014. Academically, José Manuel holds a Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia, a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, and multiple master's degrees in Hydrology and Water Resource Management, Occupational Risk Prevention, and Business Administration and Management from Universidad de Alcalá and Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. Additional education includes a postgraduate degree in Lean Practitioner from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
