Alexander Marin

Alexander Marin has a diverse work experience in the media industry. Most recently, they have held the position of VP Distribution at RCN TV since September 2020. Prior to that, they worked as Principal at Media Advisors since August 2020.

Before joining RCN TV and Media Advisors, Marin had a long tenure at Sony Pictures Entertainment. Alexander started as General Manager, overseeing content development and production in northern Latin America. Alexander then progressed to roles such as VP of Sales, SVP of Distribution, and finally EVP of Networks & Distribution, where they led the P&L and strategy for media networks in Latin America, as well as marketing and distribution of Sony's TV and film content.

Marin has also held positions at Televisa, Fox Networks Group, and Turner International, Inc., where they contributed to pay television, marketing, sales, and distribution efforts in various regions. Additionally, they have served as a Board Member at Tufts University.

Throughout their career, Marin has demonstrated the ability to drive revenue and profit growth, develop innovative commercial strategies, and build strong relationships with partners and distributors.

Alexander Marin completed their education with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Texas McCombs School of Business. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History & International Relations from Tufts University. Before attending university, Alexander Marin earned a French Baccalaureate in Social & Economic Sciences from Lycée Français de New York. In addition to their academic achievements, Marin has also obtained certifications as a licensed private pilot from the Federal Aviation Administration and as a SCUBA instructor from PADI/NAUI.
