Bob Lowenthal has extensive work experience in the banking industry. Bob started their career in 1973 at Citibank, where they began in a retail position and later moved to the commercial banking group. In 1981, they joined Key Bank of New York as an AVP-Commercial Lending Officer, eventually becoming the senior lender for the Rochester Region. In 1994, they held senior vice president roles at Canandaigua National Bank and Canandaigua National Bank & Trust. During their time at Key Bank and Canandaigua National Bank, Bob had management responsibilities for commercial lenders, credit officers, and administrative assistants. Additionally, they served as an officer and board member for the Empire Chapter of The Risk Management Association from 1994 to 2011.
Bob Lowenthal attended Hebron Academy from 1964 to 1968, where they completed their high school education. During this time, they focused on subjects including Math, English, History, German, and Science. Later, from 1968 to 1972, they attended The University of the South and earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics.
