Eddy Campbell

Dr. Eddy Campbell previously served as the President of the University of New Brunswick and has extensive experience in university administration, having previously served as President and Vice-Chancellor (Acting) and Vice-President (Academic) at Memorial University in St. John’s, Newfoundland. He also served as Associate Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Science and as Professor and Head of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario.

A professor of mathematics, Eddy’s main research interest is the invariant theory of finite groups. He is a fellow of the Canadian Mathematical Society (CMS) and has served on the governing bodies of the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC), Compute Canada, the Banff International Research Station, and as President of the CMS.
