John Long

John Long has extensive work experience in procurement and supply chain management. John worked as the Director of Procurement at Canary Connects from 2017 to present. Prior to that, they served as the Supply Chain CoE at Williams from 2014 to 2016, where they spearheaded the establishment of a Center of Excellence for supply chain management. Before Williams, John was the Director of Strategic Sourcing at CIRCOR International, Inc. from 2012 to 2014, where they implemented a global sourcing and supply chain management process. From 2009 to 2012, they worked at OGE Energy Corp as the Execution Supply Chain Management, leading strategic initiatives and managing a team of project managers. John also has experience as the Strategic Sourcing Manager at Carlisle Companies Inc from 2006 to 2008, where they supported manufacturing operations through sourcing and supplier selection.

John Long earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Oral Roberts University between 1993 and 1996. John also holds certifications as a Certified Supply Chain Professional from APICS, a Certified Professional in Supply Management from the Institute for Supply Management, and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from The Institute of Six Sigma Professionals.
