Nicole Wilkes

Nicole Wilkes has a diverse work experience in the accounting field. Nicole started their career as an Intern and Staff Accountant at Yogurtland in 2015, where they performed general ledger account analysis, maintained accounts payable, and resolved issues with vendors and internal personnel. Nicole then worked as a Tax Accountant at GoldsteinEnright Accountancy Corporation from 2016 to 2017, preparing tax returns, conducting business valuations, and handling compilations. Nicole then joined Canary Marketing in 2017 as a Senior Accountant, where they maintained and balanced accounts payable and receivable, analyzed financial data, and conducted account reconciliations. Nicole was promoted to Assistant Controller in 2018, where they managed journal entries, invoices, and account reconciliations for the monthly and annual closing. Most recently, they serve as Accounting Director at Canary Marketing, overseeing the general accounting function, managing inter-company accounting, cash management and reconciliation, financial reporting, and balance sheet management. Nicole is also responsible for ensuring internal controls are in place and the accounting department is staffed with qualified personnel.

Nicole Wilkes earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Accounting and Business/Management from California State University, Chico in the years 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they attended Ohlone College from 2010 to 2013, where they obtained an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General. In addition to their degrees, Nicole also obtained the Quickbooks ProAdvisor certification in April 2016.
