Jeff Adams has a vast and extensive work experience in the field of speech and language technology. Jeff started their career as a Language Modeling R&D Manager at Lernout and Hauspie Speech Products and continued to work as an LM Manager at Lernout & Hauspie. Jeff then joined ScanSoft, Inc. as a Director in LM R&D, followed by a role as Director of Language Modeling R&D at Nuance. At Nuance, they contributed to significant accuracy improvements in Dragon NaturallySpeaking versions and played a key role in developing medical dictation products.

From 1992 to 1995, they studied Mathematics at the University of Oregon, although it is not specified whether they obtained a degree during this time.
