Software Engineer at Canary Technologies

James Disley has worked in the software engineering industry since 2012. In 2012, they worked as a Summer Intern at Flight Data Services, where they re-wrote and added definition files for the company's new in-house flight data decoding software, and gave a presentation to the whole company on the Civil Aviation Authority's Significant Seven risks to aircraft. From 2015 to 2021, they worked at Ad-Juster, which was acquired by DoubleVerify, in various roles such as Senior Software Engineer, Software Engineer II, DevOps Engineer, and Technical Support Analyst. As Technical Support Analyst, they resolved customer technical issues through email and via phone, performed training activities with customers to improve user product knowledge, and wrote and maintained both client facing and internal product documentation. In 2021, they began working as a Software Engineer at Canary Technologies.

James Disley completed their A-Levels in Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry, and Physics at Portsmouth Grammar School between 2005 and 2010. James then went on to pursue a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Information Engineering at the University of Cambridge, which they completed in 2014.
