Sophie Goddard

Sophie Goddard is a highly experienced professional in the field of Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) as well as sustainability, currently serving as Director of ESG and Director of Sustainability at Canary Wharf Group since December 2021. Prior to this role, Sophie held several key positions at Balfour Beatty plc from April 2016 to December 2021, including Head of Environment, Sustainability & Social Value for UK Construction Services and Senior Environment and Sustainability Manager for the London Region, where responsibilities included managing teams, developing social value strategies, and executing ambitious sustainability projects. Sophie also has a background in corporate social responsibility from New Look and operational standards coordination from Mansell Construction. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Environmental Monitoring for Management and a Bachelor of Science in Geography from Loughborough University.
